| | Diana2Horny | Feb 19, 7:45pm | I'm getting very tired of Stumbleupon. The one great feature that attracted me to SU was the Stumble button. It allowed me to see great pictures that REAL people have discovered.
Now, even as a Sponsored Member I continuously find myself going to pages that were obviously paid for advertisements. It's also disappointing that many of the stumbling categories and "find friends interested in:" choices are now limited. I am so disappointed. This was once the one perfect network that allowed to me to search and enjoy the one subject I really love: The beauty of the naked human body.
And these are only a few of the complaints I have. I think it's time for everyone on here to speak out against the changes that were mad when SU was sold to EBAY! |

Well, maybe the guys that think SU is a dating site and go around messages girls that are underage when they are about 30-50 years old. It's sickening and they should realize SU isn't a dating site. |

| LLindy | Jun 20, 2:50pm | Diana2Horny, I couldnt agree more. I too, used to find Stumbleupon so enjoyable, and addicting....but alas, those days are gone. Cant really blame E-Bay tho, for the greed of others. Lets call it what is is: STUMBLEUPON SOLD OUT! Choices have been made, and now we as end users have few. They have carefully placed ads when you Stumble, and obviously put there by paid advertisers. Again, greed. Where you could once totally customize Stumbleupon, by using SUE, that too is gone. When I was forced to take the Stumble Beta, that broke the last straw. I only recently came back to Stumble, after having upgraded my OS, and managed to get my original Stumble back, minus of course, all my old eye candy. When I learned of the E-Bay takeover, I predicted all of this... with Im sure, more to come, all of which is no good. New users dont know what they are missing. When I was forced to go with the beta Stumble, when I lost SUE, when choices that I once had, were taken away, they took away the very reason I came here.
As for NoodleCouncil, get a grip! Yes, I agree with you on the predators, but, maybe you need to go into your preferences, as there IS a place for you to check off that you are here for perhaps, "dating". So, you just keep donating your money to E-Bay. Be a proud sponsor. Im sure they love you.
People are here for all sorts of reasons. All public sites, are potentially dating sites. Why that seems to bother you, is beyond me. |

Please don't hurt yourself over it or let it depress you.. |

| Goatboy77 | Jun 25, 6:44pm | Spammers like TheMobiBlog are the reason for the decline in content here at SU. They flood the stumbletron with miscatted copypasta and blogtrash then get it circulation with bot-rings.
They spam their blogs into forums and inboxs, all in the name of their own greed.
And since ebay is associated with many of the ad companies that are paying the spammers, the spammers get to stay as long as they keep a low profile.
Then all the new idiots come behind them and thumb it up without even thinking whether or not the piece deserves more circulation.
Now when ever I use the stumble button, I'm served up shit instead of the interesting and informative content that I used to get. |

| Sponsor | rivalarrival | Jun 25, 10:46pm | | The internet is evolving, as is SU. There have always been shit-sites. A few simple changes to SU, and those shit-sites will disappear, but so will some other feature that made SU great. New features will pop up in their place. And then the shitheads will have made new shit-sites, and a few simple changes and they'll go away too, taking some good features too... If you don't like SU, come back in a few months, or find something you do like. Or, complain until SU devs fix it. |

Dear Ebay as you know already!
Social Media Marketing is upon us and everyone is trying marketing or blogging to make extra money.. People are broke and can't afford real traffic and are trying to feed some kids and pay bills & put gas in there cars.. Im not a fan of any non conventional marketing, but when the people are hungry they will do anything to eat!
Economics is forcing everyone to want to be richer or self employed trying to be more financially stable.. The sharp rise in this type of amature marketing activity on all networks not just this one, is mostly attributed to human economic desperation in the U.S. and elsewhere.. Not because a person who drives a cab is really looking for Blog readers.. Its the extra money they want to produce! Granted 95% or better fail at even making a dime, but do succeed in the process of this failure in inundating many people with there attempts including me.
People are followers by nature.. Thats life, but you as a network are responsible for allowing anti-marketing members to continue to feel emboldened enough to continuously attack whom ever they suspect of being a marketer that is not good fair and ethical network business practice..
Members should not be policing one another as the old regime was allowing to happen.. Some of the most vile individuals have become trusted by the admins & forum modes, some who are equally as morally bankrupt themselves. Its these hate mongers that are destroying member retention rates and also can potentially have a negative effect on new member growth rates..
StumbleAds how is it possible that ad buys are expected from members & advertisers here, when clearly everyone knows that this network is and has been conditioned by some of the individuals mentioned above that ads or blogs or websites and Advertisers with or without ads on them are Deemed~(spam)?
If I were Ebay id fire all your asses..Today! |

On the contrary, that's EXACTLY what should be happening.
If I were Ebay id fire all your asses..
Why don't you just quit? |

| Goatboy77 | Jun 26, 6:20pm | If your kids are starving, get a real job. I have to make a living, too. I spend my leisure time on SU. I'm not here to buy, sell or trade anything.
I didn't join SU to be the captive target of spam. |
